Computerized Medical Thermography

Computerized medical thermography is a relatively new, radiation-free diagnostic imaging technique. It takes a snapshot of the body's heat release patterns to help reveal areas of abnormal functioning. Thermographic imaging can safely detect many medical conditions at the earliest stages, and can be used to monitor the progress of healing during and after treatment with various therapies.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a therapy in traditional Chinese medicine in which thin needles are used to restore the flow of the body's vital energy known as Qi. After needle insertion, heat or electrical stimulation may be applied at the acupuncture points for an enhanced therapeutic effect. Acupuncture can relieve pain, promote healing and improve organ functioning.

Tuina Massage Therapy

Tuina is therapeutic massage practiced as part of traditional Chinese medicine. The therapy can improve circulation and the proper functioning of muscles, joints, nerves and internal organs to benefit musculoskeletal conditions and pain relief. Tuina therapy includes acupressure, in which finger pressure instead of needles is used to stimulate the acupuncture points.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is a major component of traditional Chinese medicine, which treats the body as a whole and seeks to balance organ functions and promote healing. Herbal medicine is safe and gentle, yet remarkably effective for a variety of chronic and acute conditions. Medicinal herbs contain a multitude of phytochemicals that work together to improve health conditions without the side effects of drugs.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which special cups and suction are applied on the skin. A suction is created either by preheating the air inside the cups or by using a vacuum pump. This increases blood flow to the cupped areas and stimulate healing.

Physical Therapy

Physical therapy employs physical techniques such as exercise and electrical stimulation to restore the body’s ability to move and function. A physical therapist diagnoses movement impairments that result from disease or injury, and designs treatment programs to improve patients' mobility and functional abilities.

Occupational Therapy

The goal of occupational therapy is to enable patients with disabilities and injuries to do things that they want and need to do in everyday life. The therapy focuses on the use of the upper body and the arms and hands. It can help rehabilitate injured workers and improve functioning in schoolchildren with disabilities and elderlies with physical or cognitive issues.
