If you are new to our center, we encourage you to learn more about our health and wellness services. Our team of dedicated medical professionals can provide the highest-quality, patient-centered care for you and your family. The majority of our patients either have been referred to us by grateful patients or have chosen us based on our reputation for excellence.

Billing and Insurance

Whether or not you have health insurance, we can work with you. There are several common types of health insurance plans, and they have different requirements and coverage levels for healthcare services provided by our center.

• HMO

For HMO plans, specialty services, if covered, generally require referrals from the primary care physician.

• PPO

A referral is usually not required for PPO plans, but they vary as to which services, how many visits and what total amount they cover. We have worked with PPO providers such as Health Net, Blue Shield, United Health Care, Anthem Blue Cross, and others from Covered California/Obamacare.

• Medicare

Medicare currently does not cover acupuncture, but does cover physical therapy and occupational therapy.

​​We will make every effort to bill your insurance provider. However, patients will be responsible for services and amounts that their insurance does not cover.

If you are uninsured, that is not a problem. We gladly accept payment by cash or check at our center.

Becoming a New Patient

Make an important step toward better health, and call us at (626) 288-1368 to schedule your first appointment. If you have health insurance, have that information handy when you call.

Whether you are covered by insurance or not, you are more than welcome to make an appointment with us and get the care you need. Our friendly staff will assist you with the scheduling and answer any questions you may have, including those related to insurance and payment.

When you come in for your first appointment, you will be asked to fill out our new patient forms, which include questions about your medical history.

Please bring with you a photo ID, any health insurance card, a method of payment or copayment, and information about current prescription or over-the-counter medications. If you have copies of recent lab test or X-ray results, please bring them with you also.
